CONDENSER COIL

Description: Located in the outdoor unit, it consists of a dense network of loops through which hot refrigerant gas travels. An outdoor fan forces ambient air over the coil, drawing thermal energy out of the lines. To maximize heat dissipation speed, rows of ultra-thin, highly dense metallic "fins" are tightly pressed around the tubing, significantly expanding the superficial surface area.
Fin Engineering: Standard configurations utilize Plate Fin or Spine Fin setups. They are often treated with hydrophilic "Blue Fin" or "Gold Fin" epoxy coatings to resist atmospheric moisture, marine salt air rust, and chemical corrosion.
